Your site, services and documents are fantastic and will guide me well for many years to come, thank you very much.Carol Hills
We entered week 2 in preschool Earthschooling this week and I love how subtle, yet powerful this all is. Theme of the week is moon and we needle felted a moon garland with the moon phases, David (4yo) loved it so much that he got the responsibility of the very sharp needle. And as we were walking home this afternoon after a treat at the cafe he said “look behind you mom! It’s the moon. He lights the way home for us” This morning I wondered if he even “gets” all the stories and crafts and what they are about. I was really happy to get the confirmation that it really does make a difference that we work through a curriculum. Thank you for creating such wonderful resource.Sandra Gri
I really love your material and feel, because I have no real teacher support in my work, that your (teacher support) videos and lessons bring me connections and insights I want to have, even if it is not face to face.Ann (has asked her last name not be used)
Earthschooling is a Waldorf-inspired curriculum with a wholistic and multi-cultural approach. The lifetime membership is well worth it, especially for a family like yours! There is curriculum online that you may easily access or print. Video tutorials, ebooks and more.Jennifer Jo Lickiss Tan via Facebook Comment
I LOVE that you have the same theme each week across the grades in your plans – it makes homeschooling multi ages/grades easier! I’ve heard this becomes key to successfully homeschooling multiple children/grades/ages – so thank you for taking that part of our planning off our hands and looking after it in the monthly plans so the different grades seamlessly come together!Elke Indigo
I am thrilled to get these tutorials. I have wished for this kind of instruction in watercolor and block crayon drawing for years; in fact, not having this skill is what stopped our Waldorf-inspired homeschooling!Gretchen Sparkman
We used one of (the three teacher tutorials we ordered) yesterday for a teacher training session and it was great! Our local teachers loved it and it’s so good for us, as we don’t have qualified people in house to teach us these things. I love your website and CEFZ will become regular customers.

“OH MY GOSH!!! Kristie – I know I have said this before, but thank you thank you thank you for the pre school plans. They are making my life SO easy with planning our next block… I didn’t think I’d do something this formal with M this year, but since he’s turned 3 this is EXACTLY what he needs… I LOVE How easy it is to plan out a nourishing Early Childhood program for him from these monthly plans – Thank you!”Elke Indigo
(This testimonial HERE) almost exactly explains what our family is feeling. Having also stumbbled upon The BEarth Institute we purchased the Life-time package inclusive of high school – I am so grateful for discovering such a group of passionate and dedicated conscious teachers, that present me with a curriculum that is so fully rounded acedemically, spiritually and mentally. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!Tanya Schenck, Lifetime Member
It’s important to learn about and connect with our environment. This is exactly what the BEearth Institute’s Earthschooling is all about. Nature education is something we all did naturally as we played outside, learning the consequences of gravity and that walking through thick mud often times means you’re digging for a shoe that’s pulled from your foot. You will find that sitting still means butterflies will land on you and as you wait you discover the clouds paint an ever changing canvas.
I stumbled upon Kristie and The BEarth Institute years ago and purchased a lifetime membership, now the Family Curriculum Package. It gave us a curriculum that valued and developed the whole child while supporting their natural curiosity. It offers a strong background in art, music, math’s, language, multiple religions, cultural studies, mythology and allows for fantasy play and plenty of opportunities to develop fine motor and life skills. The children use natural materials like beeswax, wool (roving and yarn), cloth and even wood as the children learn to play a recorder, finger knit, paint, sew, create and sculpt beeswax and wood into what they see.
The Family Curriculum Package give your family access to all the benefits and curriculum for preschool through 8th grade, and there is a ton of information that can be used into the summer too. It gives access to all conference videos, all 32 e-books, all teacher supportvideos and tutorials, access to an online vintage book library, and access to all future updates to the e-books, videos, and all curriculum for preschool through G8. You can also feel comfortable knowing all lessons were created by certified teachers and professionalsthat value the gentle education of the child. This package also includes access to all the Kids Can Heal classes which means your child can learn about natural healing and take ownership of their health and body. It’s an amazing way to empower your child when they know they can care for their self. There is also a private Facebook group and private Yahoo group where you can get answers to your questions 24-hours a day.
The Family Curriculum Package cost changes according to how many materials are being offered at the time of enrollment. The current price of the Family Curriculum Package is $925.00 and while the price has doubled since I purchased it the materials have more than tripled. The price increases at least twice a year depending on the expansion of our programs but you only pay one time. I know that having access to a quality curriculum is awesome but never having to pay anything again for homeschooling? Oh yeah…that’s awesome.
Each month something new is added; extra videos, MP3s, enrichment, stories, holiday guides, lectures, teacher support and much more. So on top of receiving over $1896.00 (and growing) worth of materials for less than half price you’re getting new materials every year as well! There are also add-ons you can get like the Naturopathic Healing Course, Unani Tibb Course, Wildlife Education Materials and Waldorf-inspired Earthschooling High School Curriculum.
I adore Kristie because she’s not too busy to answer you. I’ve asked tons of questions and I’ve always gotten quick, thorough answers. I’m so stinkin’ lucky to have discovered Earthschooling years ago. We’ve gotten more than our moneys worth out of it and sometimes I almost feel like I’ve taken advantage of her by getting in on the ground floor. If you value your child developing a love for learning you’re going to love everything Kristie has to offer. I don’t use everything as I also use Montessori (which I’m down to only 1 kiddo using Montessori now since she’s 7) but with Earthschooling they really are developing a love of learning and life as well as a quality education.Honey Rowland, at www.HoneysLife.com
“Having experience with Waldorf education, I knew I wanted something Waldorf inspired but infused with a ton of opportunities to tie in herbs, real food, the natural world, wildlife, and the like. The Earthschooling Curriculum is all this and more. I am so excited to use it as my base, my roots if you will, and tailor it to Tiny’s interests and capabilities. It truly is the perfect fit for us. Check out their Lifetime Access package. I promise you will not find a better deal on a Waldorf inspired curriculum that takes you from preschool to eighth grade. “…These are making a world of difference to my planning. Even though I may not use the plan exactly as they have laid it out, to have this foundation provided as a springboard for my own planning, is wonderfully valuable. I’m finding it terrific the way they have given each week a seasonally related theme and developed their curriculum around that. (Read more here)”Elke at Another Day Blog
Book Review for The Journey of Analise
Available in hardback and mp3 chapters at www.JourneyofAnalise.com
When this book arrived on my doorstep, the first thing I noticed was its beauty. The cover and pictures are done in the typical Waldorf style by the lovely Robyn Wolfe of Waldorfish.
As a children’s book on the temperaments I was curious how Kristie would weave the elements into the story. She did an amazing job! From the colors of the actual pages to the colorful characters within the book this is a feast for the senses.
We follow Analise on her journey through the magical world of seasons to find her “other parts” and return with the help of many along the way.
As she travels to each season, animals and quirky characters are introduced to help the reader understand that “season” aka temperament.
It is filled with imagery and values on working together, helping and balance.
This is gift to all parents wanting to help their children indirectly understand behavior of themselves and siblings. With over 160 beautiful pages, is truly a book to add to your bookshelves. Enjoy as a read aloud or chapter book for older children.
My 12 year old “stole” the book while I was reading and we both devoured it and then talked about the story. She loved it and it helped her come to terms with her sister’s fiery summer temperament.

I just finished watching the How to Create a Main Lesson Book videos in the Teacher Support Package, and they are great! Thank you so much for providing them.Karen Wright
“In addition to being a wonderfully useful and helpful guidebook (The book, The Temperaments and the Adult-Child Relationship) for adults seeking to understand and help the children in their care, Kristie Burns’ book is joyous good reading.
She brings to each page a deep understanding that is infused with a happy enthusiasm for children and humanity in general. For her, there seems to be nothing that is quite so interesting as the personality types that are characterized by the four temperaments, and nothing quite so alchemical as what happens when disparate temperaments are brought into the close relationships of adult and child.
The end result for those of us who are lucky enough to read her book is that through her eyes and open heart we are able to learn to love and care for all the temperaments, and to come to understand at a very non-trivial level how we can help children use the temperament they have to develop into the adults they long to become.
I can’t imagine a classroom or home that won’t be better for working with the material Kristie offers (which includes stories for each temperament, too – like getting dessert after each chapter!).”Nancy of www.WaldorfBooks.com
