How Can You Experience Food Without Eating It?
Challenge yourself to experience food on different levels – It’s not all about being full or fulfilling a desire – Experiment with appreciating food without eating it.
My daughter loves to watch the short “how to make it” videos on Instagram but never makes any of the recipes. She just enjoys watching them.
Sometimes I enjoy cooking a complex meal so much I don’t even want to eat it when it is done. I love smelling coffee. Just smelling it makes me happy. But I have a severe caffeine sensitivity so I can rarely drink it.
I even have a purse shaped like an ice cream cone even though I can’t eat ice cream.
If we can learn how to enjoy food in more then we don’t need to eat as much to be satisfied and avoiding foods we can’t eat becomes less painful.
