What are Living Lessons?
Students can use these full lessons by watching each video on their own. A Waldorf teacher can teach students using these Living Lessons. However, we also feel it is important that the parent/teacher remains involved in the lessons to stay true to the Waldorf methods. So Living Lessons can also serve as a classroom assistant and help you become a better teacher by having another teacher lead, guide, and inspire you. Either way you use them – your student will greatly benefit from these full lessons taught by a Waldorf teacher!
Here are some ways in which you may use the Living Lessons:
1. You are homeschooling multiple ages and need a virtual teacher now and then so you can offer each of your students individual attention.
2. You are looking for a virtual classroom experience with a Waldorf teacher.
3. You need a break now and then from homeschooling full time.
4. You want to enhance your own skill set by watching other teachers present Waldorf lessons.
5. You want to join a community of other parents experiencing Living Lessons with opportunities for your kids to connect with other kids in the program.
6. You are running a business or working from home and need a virtual teacher to help you homeschool.
7. You recently moved or are experiencing health challenges that make it hard to homeschool full time.
8. You are new to homeschooling and need a boost of confidence to start off your year.
9. You are new to Waldorf education.
10. You feel overwhelmed with the prospect of homeschooling, or you have been forced into homeschooling and are feeling lost.

FAQs About Our Eighth Grade Curriculum Options
Question: I’m looking through the curriculum packages and noticing what looks like a difference in subject matter between the Eighth Grade Curriculum Package, the Living Lessons complete curriculum package, and the individual planners. For example, in the planners, I see Anatomy and the Eye and the Ear, but in the Eighth Grade package, when looking for anatomy, all I see is the Skeleton & Movement block. In the Living Lessons package, I see Mensuration and Algebra-Stereometry, but in the Eighth Grade package, all I see for math is Geometry and Famous Mathematicians. Are the subjects the same across all of the package options? Or do they differ by format? – TH
Answer: Thank you for your question. These are great questions! The written lessons are taught by a different teacher, so they differ from the Living Lessons. They vary only slightly in the ways you mentioned, but they are different.
Please fill out the form below, and someone will respond within 1 -24 hours.
