Creating Your Own Camelot
It’s not always Camelot but you can pretend it is.
I was fortunate enough to see this wonderful performance of Camelot recently.
One of my favorite things about the musical is the faith the king has in his own idea of Camelot and how he blissfully pursued this ideal.
It didn’t turn out the way he intended but at the end of the musical it shows him telling the story to a storyteller and asking him to spread the message far and wide.
Today so many people are inspired by the story – it doesn’t even matter if the story is real or not.
This is what happens when you pursue your dreams and your ideals.
You will be successful – perhaps not in the way you intended – but your light will shine farther than you ever imagined it could.
