How to Make Your Calories Count

One of the best ways to stay healthy is to “make your calories count.”

Ask yourself when you eat something, “what does this contribute to my health? Does it count?”

If the answer is “no” more often than not you might want to consider making some modifications.

This is also a fun way to learn about nutrition.

If you know you are eating something healthy but can’t answer the question, “what does this contribute to my health?” you can look up some information about the food and learn something new.

This breakfast is from the amazing Raddison Blu at Mall of America where we go once a year to shop at IKEA and experience nature in Minnesota. We had hotel points to stay here for free but I would highly recommend staying at this or any other hotel where they serve local, organic and healthy food. This hotel locally sources all their ingredients and even has beehives on the roof.
