Tuesday Tip: What is a Conscious Choice for Wellness?

These short thoughts/tips are meant to be a brief and efficient way to offer a quick touch of inspiration for the day.

What is a Conscious Choice for Wellness?

Make conscious choices. My daughter and I went to a jazz festival downtown. There were so many choices inside the cafe in this photo and among all the food trucks during this festival. I chose this one – an amazing dairy-free Açaí Bowl filled with fresh fruit and almond butter.

We can live a healthier life if we always stay aware of what we are doing to our bodies and make conscious choices.

For example, when I put fingernail polish on my nails I realize that I am polluting my body and I am making a conscious choice to do something that may be slightly harmful so I try to minimize the times I participate in that activity or counteract it with something healthy.

Being healthier isn’t about restricting everything we do. It’s about awareness and turning every choice we make into a conscious thoughtful one.
