THE FOUR COSMIC CURVES
Note that Earthschooling tackles this in high school…
The cone contains the four primary mathematical principles of creation (see diagram A). In horizontal section we have the Circle, the curve of beginning – ‘…and God divided…’! The circle is the curve of Division, of the physical or structural body – the fire curve.
The Ellipse is obtained by an oblique section off the horizontal; it is the curve of Addition, of the ether, life or body of formative forces. Of the four elements, it is the gaseous curve.
The Parabola (‘to throw beside’) is obtained by an oblique section off the perpendicular. This is the curse of Multiplication, of the astral, sentient or soul body – of water.
Finally the fourth, the most enigmatic of all, the Hyperbola (‘to throw over’), found in the vertical section of a cone. This is the curve of the ego, or self. It is created by Subtraction, the curve of the mineral.
The following is a description of the construction of a circle using a series of division sums. The same process applies with the other three, and hence is shown in diagram only.
Draw a line, and make say 9cm wide, then create a series of sums where the answer is, say, two. In this case the 9cm line begins with the equation 6¸3 = 2. With a compass, mark a point 3cm from the left side and 6cm from the right. This is the beginning of a series of points around the perimeter of the circle.
The next sum will be 7¸3.5 = 2. Where the arcs of 7 and 3.5 intersect, both above and below the line, will be the next two perimeter points on the circle.
Do the same with 8¸4 = 2, 9¸4.5 = 2, 10¸5 = 2 – and so on right up to, say, 18¸9 = 2. Join up all the arc intersections for a perfect, arithmetically created circle.
