Welcome to the new website for the NEW WaldorfBooks.com! We are so excited to continue this journey with many of you and start this journey with many more!
We have been fans of Waldorf Books since the days when Bob & Nancy first inspired us all with their wonderful book reviews and established Waldorf Books as the one place where a person was guaranteed to find the Waldorf Books they needed (I can’t say “wanted” because we “need” them all – don’t we?)
We were so happy when Angela carried on the tradition after Bob & Nancy retired. WaldorfBooks has been such a cornerstone of our community for so many years – it is a treasure that we can’t live without and Angela took on this task with love & dedication, keeping everything about the store that we loved and building it up as well.
We are humbled to become part of this tradition as the torch is passed again – this time to our team here at The BEarth Institute. We are looking forward to keeping all your favorite Waldorf print books stocked for you, as well as expanding and offering you more digital Waldorf titles as well! We will also be starting a Waldorf book club, as well as some other fun surprises!

Hello, dear friends and customers!!
As many of you have heard, we have been getting ready to move our warehouse and our website to new, updated locations and platforms. This is happening now and on March 30th the new website will open, ready to serve you with all of the modern features including live inventory so you will always know whether or not a book is in stock!
The best part of this announcement is that we also get to finally share the very exciting news that Kristie Burns of The BEarth Institute is now going to be the owner and operator of Waldorf Books. Kristie is not only a hardworking Waldorf parent and business owner but a lovely human being and I’m so thrilled to be handing the reins of the store over into her capable hands. She has been offering Waldorf curriculum and support for many, many years and has the resources and the team to make the bookstore the best that it can be. Waldorf Books will now be a part of her community and be able to serve everyone with better offerings, supplies, and a long-requested supply of eBooks and other digital items. I’m so thrilled by her vision for the future and for our bookshop.
Phil & I have been so proud and honored to serve you over the last five years. Now that we are heading off into a new adventure, we just want to say how grateful we have been to have you shop with us, and how excited we are for Kristie to take over as we go forward.

Although I (Kristie Burns) will be managing the core of the new bookstore transition and development I will be helped significantly by our wonderful webmaster Graham Vidler and Executive Assistant, Mosi Mandil. In fact, Mosi Mandil will be the one managing the bookstore on a daily basis once the transition is completed. 
Mosi was homeschooled in the Waldorf tradition for many years, has a deep passion for books, is an enthusiastic book club participant, bikes to the community library regularly, supports local book stores, attends author presentations once a month, attends a writers workshop for a week every year, and even keeps a “scratch-off” poster of “100 Essential Classic Books” in her office which is almost completed. Mosi will be graduating from the University of Iowa with a Masters in Social Work in 2021. Mosi has a keen sense of what every book owner and Waldorf parent/teacher needs and is excited to start working with the community to fill those needs.
