Waldorf Teacher Tip #345: This weekend I attended an outdoor seminar in wildlife field research. This seminar was part of my own research for the new Wildlife Curriculum I am developing and also part of my training for my own field research.
Once again, however, I realized that my education had another important purpose – it energized and inspired me. For me, there is something about interacting with other people live (online and in person) & learning something new that energizes me. I don’t drink caffeine but from what I hear my experience is equal to about 6 cups of coffee.
It is these continuing education opportunities that have kept me energized my entire life. I hear so many people say “I don’t have time to attend that conference/seminar/class” or ‘I don’t have the money to invest in that seminar/conference/class” but if I didn’t invest the time and money at least once every couple months I wouldn’t have the energy to do what I do!
So what is your inspiration? What is the thing that keeps you energized each day? You might be surprised to find out that taking classes will turn out to do the same for you or that there is another idea out there that may surprise you! Do you need more energy and inspiration?
