A study of the natural sources of light is interesting; the first of course Is the sun, lamp of the world. Then there is its reflected light, as in the moon and sky-glow – then starlight, lighting and bioluminescence. Light radiated by heat energy varies in color according to intensity, from cool violet to white-hot! There is also a host of peculiar light sources, like auroras and jack o’ lanterns.
